Well?

So, diet, not going so good. I will be the first to say my heart (and stomach) are just not in it. I have good intentions everyday when I wake up, then it leaves oh around lunch time! Don't get me wrong. I am not whining. I am not saying "why oh why God can't I do this?" or anything like that. I am in control of me, or in this case not in control, but its my choice. Why am I saying this? I don't have a clue, other than to say, diet and exercise, not going so well! I really hate myself when I do this. Its eating out where I get "screwed" by myself! I don't want to have to think out the points or figure up the calories or have this on the side or this grilled instead of................(you fill in the blank). As you can tell, I'm just not in to it. Do I care? Yes, I care. I don't like being at this weight. I don't want to gain back the weight I have already lost. I don't want, I don't want, I don't want. What I need to do is kick my own ass and jump start myself. Why don't I do it. Who the hell knows!

Life is good right now for me and my family, but for some reason, I have the "blahs". Just got back from a glorious vacation to the beach. Still have three more weeks off. Hubby just bought me a new truck
So tell me.........why do I have the blahs? I haven't figured it out. If I do I will let you know.

Any suggestions? Greatly appreciated!

Hugs. I think we've all been there. Mine lasted 7 months and 46 pounds. I hope yours is shorter!!

We can all give you advice, but ultimately it's all up to you. You have to be the one to be like Nike and just do it. You have to care.

I'm a truck girl too. I drive a 1 ton doolie. I love my truck.

You might be having trouble sticking to a plan because you were on vacay... getting back into the same old swing 'o things might be just what the doctor ordered.

Take an hour and plan out what you SHOULD eat for the next week, and make it your MISSION to stick to it. Give yourself a little leeway, though... being too strict can cause serious failure if you are too hard on yourself if you slip up.

(((hugs!!)))

You're an intelligent woman- if you really, truly don't want to be overweight anymore, you know what to do.

I hope all goes well with the blah's :)

I completely understand where you are coming from. When I get in this rut I try to stop concentrating on NOT eating the "bad" things and start concentrating on eating all the good things. If you want chocolate then eat it. Just have strawberries with it. If you want pasta, go for it, just serve it with a large portion of sauteed zucchini. You get the idea. Eat what you want and just make sure you get at least six servings of fruits and veggies a day. Having that positive nourishment will energize you and it will help you to have a desire to make the next changes. It works for me every single time.

Good luck!

I am sorry that you are feeling blah. I have been at my sister's house in Tennessee for 3 weeks now and I have been having some blah days because I told myself I was going to eat right and exercise. I can't seem to get my mind right about it.
I love your new truck.
If I have some suggestions I will get back to you.
Have hope your Sunday turns out blahless. (is that a word) LOL

blahs happen at odd times. when things are good and bad. don't fight it let it happen and pass try to limit the damage until you get your mojo back.

This losing weight business isn't easy. Every single day is a struggle for me. Some days more so than others.

You'll do it when you're ready, and one day, I suspect soon, your mind will be in the right place to count the Points, keep track, and all the other crap that goes with losing weight.

In the mean time, don't hate on yourself too much. I'm the queen of doing that and it doesn't work. Only makes it all worse. Be kind to yourself. You'll get back in the groove of it soon. You're just taking a mini-break right now. Hugs to you. :)
